happy easter

Kasey slept in until 9:30am today! It was the craziest thing ever - I checked on her a few times to make sure she was still breathing - she must have been really comfy-cozy or maybe she is growing...who knows. One of my crazy mom moments worrying over a happily sleeping baby. Often I am pretty laid back with the baby - I read these fears and don't share any of them. Then I read these fears, which I totally worry about too. Maybe I am just a middle-of-the-road mom.

Yesterday we went to Longwood with some friends, pictures to come. It was gorgeous outside and all the flowers were wonderful. For some reason I wore flip flops -ouch - not a good choice for power walking through the gardens. Felt great for me and the baby to get so much fresh air though!

love this new jumper!

I was sad Kasey slept in so late since I work today and leave by noon. I want her awake so I get the maximum amount of time with her. While she was still asleep though I decided to make a coconut breakfast style cake for Easter from the muffin recipe I tried the other day. Smells delicious!
mmmm toasted coconut
We are really excited for Easter weekend! Andy is off from school tomorrow so (as long as baseball practice doesn't interfere) we will get to go altogether to his brother's baseball game on a supposed-to-be gorgeous afternoon. And then we get to head to NY where my parents are getting us some yummy NY pizza. We get to spend all weekend in NY and split Easter with our families, although a little hectic with a 2.5 hour drive breaking it up, it is so nice to be with both families! Next week Andy is off from school too! And so is my mom so she will be down to babysit Kasey-girl and hopefully hang around a while to hang out with me too! All sounds perfect + we love April!
just hanging out...

Kasey is 20 weeks on Easter Sunday! Here are some "throw-back" pictures that I found on Andy's i-touch the other day...
