that kind of day

Yesterday Kasey and I had a nice day,  you could tell the weather was about to take a good turn!
We met up with another mom and baby in West Chester to run in the afternoon, which was nice. Kasey had just napped a while though and was awake for the run so I did cut it short- but I am glad we got to enjoy the fresh air!

She was super talkative yesterday afternoon:

And Andy got home in time to give her a bath and put her to bed while I made dinner, which was perfect!

I am very excited for our Vermont trip, we are actually staying in Ticonderoga, NY but I do need some time apart from Kasey, if even for 10 minutes, before it is just me and her possibly for the whole weekend!

Today is absolutely gorgeous and tomorrow is supposed to be even better, we took a run this morning, and a walk around noon, and another long walk on the waterfront we got back from not too long ago!
 I just love this weather!

a little windy..
Made a Caramel "Fraux-ppuccino" to celebrate the weather:
1 cup milk, any kind
3-4 teaspoons instant coffee
1 teaspoon caramel, I used my leftover homemade sauce
1/2 scoop of vanilla whey powder, optional

Mix in blender with ice
Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel (both homemade- yum)

We also made Honey Chamomile Banana Bread to give to the people funding the cheerleaders trip to VT. Just added 2 teabags of Honey Chamomile Tea to my banana bread recipe.

I know I have the most gorgeous daughter in the world (biased view), but my dog is a big hit when we go for walks too and a handful of people stopped in their cars today to talk to me about Annie...this is what she was doing...

She just couldn't help herself...
She would roll in grass (and even on sidewalks) all day if I let her...it was just that kind of day
