What we have been cooking....?

Banana Bread, our regular recipe, with cinnamon crumble topping

Friday before DC we made breakfast pizza, we used left over grilled pizza dough, shredded cheddar, bacon, and an egg - In the future I think it would be easier putting an egg on dough with an outer rim- we had some trouble keeping it on the flat surface - but still yummy


Almond Cinnamon Coffee Cake Muffins, only changes were we added 1/2 teaspoon of espresso powder, which makes everything better and we used oat bran and only 2 tablespoons butter for the crumbly topping with chopped almonds



and we made



Banana Bread Granola
we changed this recipe to halve it and ended up with it a slightly different finished:




2.5 cups old fashion oats
3 tablespoon coconut oil
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1.5 bananas, mashed
1/2 cup of flax seeds, ground instead of hemp seeds which I did not have on hand
1 teaspoon cinnamon (even with a smaller recipe)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup walnuts

We also omitted the banana chips and chocolate, since we didn't have any lying around
Very very good!

and we made this for dinner the other night, delicious, just switched in some gorgonzola for the goat cheese
Kasey was able to eat it too, which is so fun! I love when she gets to eat like a real person, which is more and more every day!







Someone also knows how to ham it up when mama yells "Cheese"
